In class writing

  2. I maintained the fake death of Louise’s husband, and that the death of her is caused by the coming back of her husband.
  3. I change the setting of the time to modern world, for example Louise knows the “death” of her husband from TV instead of Richard. I reduced the number of characters and increased the time period between she knows the news and she suicide, so that it made more sense of the suicide of her suicide because if there are other people around her, it wasn’t supposed to be that easy for her to die in modern world, but if it’s just herself, then it will make sense for such behavior. And for my version, I changed the reason of her death to suicide instead of heart attack.
  4. Her husband came back home and saw the scene of her death.
  5. I think my strongest part now is my plot. 
  6. My weakest part would probably be the creation of the video and music, which are still things that I’m working on right now.
  7. It helped me realized that there always suppose to be changes that can fit into the environment that you are trying to write about for the story.
  8. Taking pictures is really helping me, from deciding the angles of pictures as a director, it’s totally different than what I will do as a photographer. This focus more on how consistent it is and how it tells the story.

ACT 3

The family is still in the progress of moving. Asagai was there to help and asking Beneatha’s choice. Beneath doesn’t believe in her big dreams anymore now. Instead she’s more about herself now. Asagai asked again if she would go back to Africa with him and leave her think about it for now. Walter invites Mr. Lindler and accepting the offer that he suggested few days ago about sell the house. Everyone object the plan and suggested that they have too much proud for such thing like this. Walter still insisted the plan due to the reason that he lost the money and let everyone down.  In the end he rejected the plan again and say that the Youngers are too proud and want to move into the house.

Act 2

Scene 1 George and Walter is in a really intensive relationship. Walter hate him because George feels like they are not on the same level. George was not interested in African heritage, he and Beneatha had a argument about that. Mama announced that they will be moving into a new house in a white neighborhood. Walter is not happy because he feels like he’s not playing any role in the process of the move, he should be the one that purchase the house for the family. Walter also feels like she had crushes his dream of opening a liquor store. Scene 2 George and Beneatha went back from a date. George wanted to kiss her but Beneatha didn’t. What George wanted for girl is not who Beneatha is. After went back home, she talked with her mom that she didn’t like him because he’s a fool. Mama supported her. Mrs Johnson comes to visit. Reflection on poem performance

What was hard and what was easy for you?  Remembering the lines is really an easy part of this assignment because each of us didn ’ t get a lot of lines and it took less effort and time than I expected before the performance. But coming up with how we perform is a really hard part , there is a lot of ideas when we start to consider it and in the end, we have to choose the best of them.  What made the performances interesting to watch?  The most interesting part of our performance is the last part where four of us use our native tongue to say the words that were in Spanish , this is more interesting than just simply saying it in English because it brings to the audience what the author is trying to express. What worked and what didn't in the class as a whole?
