Carpe Diem
Seize The Day
The bug that irks you, the yellow butterfly
that catches your eye,
and the furred thing with sharp teeth
that repels you-are all in your moment
of history
This is my favorite line in the whole poem, I share the same idea with the poet on this. Just as she said in the poem, I believe that anything we've been through is a part, a piece of history of our life, these are the thing that made us human and made us unique. When we dealing with situations that happens to us, no matter it's good or bad, we should always face it and experience it, if it's a situation you want to get out, you do your best to change it and make everything better. Another reason is that there aren't a lot of poets write these into their poems, which is also another reason I chose this part.
